Northcentral University Site Launch

After hours of design revision, fast and furious coding and many (many) late nights, we’re proud to announce the launch of Northcentral University’s new website!

The project initially started last fall when we implemented an emergency re-development to get NCU on a more stable and functional CMS platform. At that time we “modernized” the site template a bit, but essentially focused solely on back-end functionality and an improved content production workflow.

This spring we were able to properly relaunch the site, starting at the ground level with a completely reformatted site architecture that greatly improved navigation through the multiple program levels and school content. We also created a much more modern design aesthetic meant to serve the level of students enrolled at NCU (Masters candidates and beyond). We leveraged and improved upon the existing CMS customized implementation (Drupal) providing a more streamlined administrative experience and adding a way to manage a dynamic course catalog.

None of this would have been possible without my team’s above-and-beyond effort. Web Developer Nick Anthony, Web Designer Liu Xin and Integrated Producer & Client Lead Lindsey Savisky all gave this project the very best of that their considerable talent and intelligence had to offer. The best part? Our client sure noticed:

“It comes as no surprise to me that the website is outstanding and that it was delivered on schedule. Location3, but more specifically the three of you, operate at an extremely fast pace and with the utmost attention to quality. I would be making a tremendous understatement by saying how much I appreciate the hard work that you do for us. I know that we will have a lot of projects to partner on moving forward and I really cannot say thank you enough,” Kevin Lustig, Senior Vice President, Marketing & Business Development, Northcentral University.

Take a tour of the new site and let us know what you think.
