Do you have expertise in search marketing, design/development, and/or social media? Or maybe just a passion for these channels and a yearning desire and willingness to learn? Then we want you! We’re always interested in hearing from bright, driven individuals.
Send your credentials and a brief explanation of what you can bring to and how you’ll fit in at Location3 Media to jobs@location3.com.
General Description
Location3 is seeking a knowledgeable and innovative Jr. Web Developer. The desired candidate must be fully engaged in the world of interactive development, and understand the importance of social media and search engine optimization.
Let’s Talk About You
You should certainly have a passion for the interactive space, from web and mobile to social and viral media. You must be able to handle the full life cycle of a project from concept to completion (architecting, development, design integration and deployment).
Position Details
Your tasks will include:
• Taking sliced up design layouts in Photoshop (as well as slicing them up yourself) to create working websites using PHP, Ajax, X/D/HTML, and CSS
• Developing forms with proper validation and database integration, as well as powerful site-search functions
• Customizing open source CMS solutions to meet every need of a client project, such as Wordpress and Expression Engine (PHP-based solutions)
• Setting up beta sites on our development server, including installing and configuring a CMS framework
• Handling the delivery stage of the project lifecycle, i.e. “pushing the site live”
A web developer at Location3 doesn’t simply sit behind a monitor or two and code away all day, every day. You can plan on participating in the strategic development of interactive solutions (including storyboarding, sitemapping and wireframing), plenty of brainstorming, and not always punching the clock at 5:30pm. You should also plan on a healthy amount of happy hours and inter-office Wii tournaments.
Fine Print
You need to have about 2-3 years of experience. Your strength should be in PHP first and foremost, then Ajax, HTML, and CSS. Experience working with MySQL databases is required. You can expect to juggle 2-3 projects at a time, and should have a desire to create work that is remembered and respected.
A Huge Plus
JQuery skills, Ruby on Rails, ASP and .NET experience. Experience and/or interest developing facebook apps, desktop widgets, and mobile apps.
What We Offer
Competitive compensation commensurate with experience, health benefits, offices in LoDo with great people watching, and plenty to eat, drink and do all within walking distance.
Location3 Media is seeking an account executive. Reporting to the director of sales and marketing, the candidate in this position will be responsible for selling PPC/SEO services to advertising agencies and advertisers.

If you feel you are a good fit, send over your resume and a note to Brian Murphy explaining why you are our next sales superstar. Please no phone calls.
