Andrew Beckman, CEO
As CEO of Location3, Andrew Beckman (@andrew_beckman) oversees the strategic direction and business growth and provides insight into new marketing trends and technologies.
Prior to establishing Location3 in 1999, Andrew was an international sales manager for DoubleClick, where he helped to open international locations and train sales staff on U.S. search marketing principles.
Andrew sits on the Search Marketing Council and ECHO Committee for DMA. He has delivered rousing speeches at numerous conferences and is frequently published in industry journals. Andrew graduated from the University of Maryland in 1996 with a bachelor’s degree in international business.

Alex Porter, President
As president, Alex Porter (@porter32) forges seamless relations between Location3 and prospective clients, and oversees the day-to-day operations of the entire company.
Alex is an active member of the New Denver Ad Club Board. He has delivered stimulating speeches at numerous conferences and is frequently published in industry journals.
Prior to joining Location3 in 2003, Alex was an associate at Cooks Associate, a boutique executive recruiting firm in Boulder, CO. He graduated from the University of Maryland with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s in kinesiology with a focus on sports psychology.

Samantha Bedford, Senior VP, Digital Media
As SVP in charge of paid digital media, Samantha Bedford (@samanthabedford) drives strategic direction to every campaign across all paid services. She works with the client services team to ensure that best-in-class innovative practices are implemented and client expectations are continually exceeded. Utilizing her natural aptitude for marketing principles, fine-tuned leadership skills and inherent organization capabilities, she maintains the highest quality of performance and innovative practices.
Prior to joining Location3 in 2002, Samantha was a senior media marketer at ForwardSLASH, Inc. in South Africa. She has several industry certifications and recognitions—Google AdWords Professional, Yahoo! Search Ambassador, MSN adCenter member, ClickTracks Pro, WAA Award of Achievement and Google Analytics Individual. Samantha graduated from the AAA School of Advertising with bachelor’s degrees in marketing communications and media management.
John Harris, Chief Strategy Officer
John Harris (@netharris) leads strategy and business development activities at Location3. He assists in building strategic partnerships with clients, allowing the agency to deliver solutions for improved performance. John’s extensive experience as an industry leader provides focused marketing strategies, which further integrate Location3’s pay per click management, local, social, mobile and creative services.
Prior to joining Location3, John spent 15 years within the Omnicom Group’s network of agencies, leading marketing communications and strategies for global brands such as McDonald’s, Procter & Gamble, Coors Brewing Company and American Crew. As SVP at The Integer Group, he was responsible for agency planning, operations and client leadership, launching the agency’s digital, CRM and retail planning practices. He served as president of Karsh\Hagan Advertising from 2006 to 2008, providing executive leadership for the agency’s $30 million in annual billings. Most recently, John was senior vice president of marketing at smashburger where he helped grow the brand from 50 restaurants to over 100 in less than a year.

Erik Whaley, VP, Client Services
Director Erik Whaley (@LSTtweets) oversees the growing Local Search Traffic division, working with clients to develop comprehensive local search marketing programs and ensuring the highest performance of their campaigns. Erik was integral in establishing LST in 2007, and has since helped to refine offerings and build a full team of dedicated professionals.
Erik has been with Location3 since 2005. Prior to building out LST, he was account supervisor for the PPC department, overseeing the campaign management team and handling accounts totaling $2.4 million across several verticals. Erik underwent extensive training in Google Analytics at their headquarters, is GAP and ClickTracks Analytics Professional certified.
Erik graduated from the University of Colorado with a bachelor’s degree in marketing and another in music production.

Ryan Geiger, Creative Director
After ten years as an art director on big-brand campaigns, including Anheuser-Busch, IBM, Toyota, The Melting Pot and GNC, Ryan Geiger (@howdyryan) founded Pitch/Brand Communications, an interactive agency in Florida. After two years working on both local and national campaigns, Ryan decided he was tired of constant perspiration and moved to Denver where he eventually joined our leadership team.
At Location3, he oversees the creative development process through from initial strategy to delivery, including branding and identity solutions, website, banner ad, CMS, eCommerce, mobile application and other interactive elements.
