Local Search Traffic Goes Big at IFA Convention

The local search marketing firm facilitates roundtable, contributes session, sponsors Business Solution Roundtables, exhibits and provides live coverage of International Franchise Association convention.

DENVER, CO – January 27, 2010 – Local search marketing firm Local Search Traffic has participated in the annual IFA convention the past two years. To herald the lucky third year, Local Search Traffic is going big! In addition to exhibiting, LST is facilitating a roundtable discussion about local online marketing, contributing to a session on free online marketing options for franchises, sponsoring the Business Solution Roundtables and live blogging and tweeting from the event.

“The demand for local search has grown dramatically in the past year, especially from franchises,” says Erik Whaley, director of Local Search Traffic. “IFA is the place to connect with franchises to discuss how we can help grow their businesses, so we decided to kick it up a notch at this year’s show.”

Local Search Traffic has exhibited as their parent company, Location3 Media, the past two conventions. The increased prominence of local search marketing inspired the company to rebrand at this year’s IFA Convention, taking place February 5-8 at the San Antonio Convention Center. To aid their rebranding efforts, Local Search Traffic developed a cleaner, more user-friendly website (www.LocalSearchTraffic.com) and will be announcing the redesign for the first time at IFA.

In addition to exhibiting at booth 623, Local Search Traffic is cosponsoring the Business Solution Roundtables, where VP Alex Porter is co-facilitating a discussion: “How to Get your Franchisees Involved in Local Online Marketing” (Monday, February 8, 10:15 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.). Alex will be encouraging attendees to ask the tough questions for advice on real-life challenges.

Erik Whaley has also contributed to the educational portion of the convention. Erik suggested the session topic “How to Increase Online Visibility and Drive More Traffic at No Cost” (Saturday, February 6, 2:45 p.m. – 4:15 p.m.) and provided talking points for the panelists, comprised of known franchisors.
