Location3 Hosts Educational Seminar for High School Students

The Location3 team is getting geared up to share our passion for the digital space with some up-and-coming marketing players next week. Thirty high school students from Vista PEAK Preparatory will visit the office to participate in an educational seminar on digital marketing on Tuesday, Oct. 18.

The visiting Vista PEAK students are freshman and sophomores with an interest in internet commerce and advertising. Exposing students to real-world work environments is part of the Vista PEAK vision statement: “To ensure every student who enters the Vista PEAK Campus graduates with a high school diploma, college credits and/or degrees, industry credentials and certifications in order to be successful in post secondary and workforce experiences.”

The seminar will begin with an overview of the digital marketing industry, along with Location3’s history and philosophy, with Chief Strategy Officer John Harris. Other topics will include web analytics, pay per click advertising, search engine optimization, mobile marketing, local search, creative design and social media, each presented by our resident experts. The students will have an opportunity to visit with other staff and check out the office during the Lunch and Learn session at noon.

Check back for pictures and stories next week!
