VisitFlorida Campaign an IAB MIXX Awards Finalist


Location3 is excited to announce we’re a finalist for the Interactive Advertising Bureau’s (IAB) seventh annual international MIXX Awards! Our pay per click campaign for tourism site VISIT FLORIDA® is one of four finalists in the Search Marketing category.

The international IAB MIXX Awards honor the teams and talent that push interactive advertising to new levels. Focused on creativity and impact, the MIXX Awards is the only competition that evaluates all key facets of interactive marketing, including strategy, creative development and execution, media placement and integration, effectiveness and ROI.

Location3 partnered with Miles Media to boost traffic and conversions for VISIT FLORIDA, the official tourism marketing corporation for the State of Florida. Our analyists optimized traffic by tagging elements that indicated intent to travel and boosted conversion rates. Cost per click and cost per conversion were both lowered significantly by the campaign, especially in the Super 7 Markets.

The winners will be chosen by a panel of independent thought leaders at the top of the advertising world. Finalists and winners will be honored at the 2011 IAB MIXX Awards Gala on October 4. The Gala is the culmination of the two-day IAB MIXX Conference & Expo held during Advertising Week in New York City.

The Interactive Advertising Bureau is comprised of more than 500 leading media and technology companies who are responsible for selling 86% of online advertising in the United States.
